GENERAL FAQ’S
Can we bowl after sunset?
Yes, there are lights on the green until 10 pm. Please note we do not take bookings after 7 pm.
Do you supply BBQ equipment?
Yes, if you have booked one/both of our BBQs for your function a BBQ pack will be provided to you by the Bar. This included BBQ equipment, oil, kitchen towel and cleaning supplies. BBQs must be left clean, as found and BBQ packs returned to the Bar.
What is included in the hire of the kitchen?
Our kitchen is fully equipped with ovens, fridges, deep fryers, and an urn for tea and coffee. Crockery and cutlery are also available. There is also a commercial dishwasher to make cleaning up quick and easy!
I only want to use the fridge in the kitchen, do I need to pay for a kitchen hire?
No, you do not need to pay for the hire of the kitchen as a non-exclusive function if you are just using the fridge.
What happens if the weather is unsuitable for bowling and the greens are closed?
Please refer to function T&C for information, a few options are available.
Do I need to be a member to book?
Yes. You will need to be a valid social member on the day of your function.
Does the Club have a dress code? What am I allowed to wear on the green?
The Club has a policy of “no tank tops or singlets” for men. This is barefoot bowls, so only bare feet or socks are to be worn on the green. Shoes are required in the inside hall/bar area.
Are Children allowed to bowl?
Yes! Children of 12yrs and older are allowed to bowl under the supervision of a responsible adult. The Club also provided children’s bowls for children that 12yrs and under. When making your booking please let us know if you have Children in attendance.
Does the Club provide any food?
Toasties and meat pies are sold over the bar. Our Club Meal Nights are on from 5:30 pm to 7 pm on a Monday Night. Booking required.
FUNCTION FAQ’S
What is Non-Exclusive and Exclusive Hire?
Exclusive hire includes the hire of the hall, patio, kitchen and BBQs and for an additional charge the green. All functions with more than 40pl is considered exclusive. Non-exclusive hire is for smaller groups. This includes the possible shared use of the hall, patio and green. There is an additional cost to book the kitchen and BBQs.

How long do we bowl for? How long do we have access to the greens?
Most function groups play for 1-2 hours depending on the size of your group. You will have access to the greens for the entirety of your booking.
Can we organise our own entertainment?
Yes, you are welcome to organise entertainment if you have paid for exclusive hire. There is a small stage in the hall with a dance floor or if they have a smaller set-up they can be positioned on the patio (dependent on the time of your booking). Please advise the office of your request when making your booking.
What is the capacity of the function space?
For exclusive hire, the capacity is 120pl for seated dining and 150pl for a cocktail-style event.
What time should we book our instructor for?
The Club requires functions to book their instructor within the first hour of their booking. Please make sure all attendees planning to bowl are on time for the instructor as we value our instructor’s time. If guests are late or miss the instructions, it is the member/day member’s responsibility to relay the information.
Can we decorate the function space?
Yes, you are welcome to decorate the function space. We just ask that no confetti and poppers are used. All decorations must be taken down at the end of your function.
Do you provide tablecloths?
Yes, we have black or white linen tablecloths available for hire. Please let us know if you would like to hire tablecloths prior to your events so that we can make sure the tablecloths you would like are available.
We’ve never bowled before; can someone show us?
Yes, a bowls instructor can be requested for your booking. Bowls instructors are included in the green hire costs for exclusive hire and an additional $50 for non-exclusive functions. This is a 15-20 minute session to show you explain the green rules, how to bowl and to set-up you up for a game or competition if so desired.
