T&C’s
Membership
Under our license, there must be a member present within the function group. This person will be responsible for the conduct of their guests. If you’re not a member, a Membership Form must be filled out and returned to the office with your deposit payment before your function can proceed.
Dress-code
The Club has a policy of no singlets or sleeveless tops for men. No offensive slogans to be worn. Although we provide barefoot bowls, footwear must be worn inside the Clubhouse.
Tentative Bookings
Tentative bookings can be kept for 7 days January to October. Tentative bookings during the Christmas Season can be held for 3 days.
Deposit/Remaining Balance
An up front deposit is required in order to secure a booking. The final numbers that will be attending must be advised to us, & the remainder of the booking fee must be paid, within the next 10 days.
We do not offer refunds for no-shows or changes in numbers after the payment of the remaining balance. Guests in attendance that are not staying for the full duration of your booking or guests that are not bowling are required to pay the $15 venue hire fee.
Bond & No Shows
A bond credit card authorisation will be kept on file in the event of damage to the Club or a ‘No Show’. No amount will be charged to this credit card without prior authority from the card holder. Hirers will be charged at cost for any extra costs, cleaning or damage to the club’s facilities, furnishings or fittings. This includes repairs, labour or replacement as deemed necessary by the Committee.
Cancellation Policy (including cancellation due to Covid 19)

For bookings from April to October, the deposit is forfeited if your booking is cancelled within 1 month of your function date. There are two options you may choose from in the event of inclement weather. 1: You may cancel the booking with no penalty (ie: receive a full refund or defer your booking to another date) option 2: You may keep the booking and still attend the venue and partake of the Club’s other facilities.
Guest non-attendance due to Covid-19
Unfortunately, we do not make refunds for guests that can not be attended due to Covid-19
Setting up/Decorations
Can be done by prior arrangement but must all be taken down at the end of the function (balloons and streamers, etc can set the alarm off). The Club does not allow confetti/glitter or poppers to be used on the premises.
NOTE: The hirer is responsible for the setup & setdown of the room and decorations.

Bar/Duty Manager’s Rights
Management/Duty Managers reserve the right to cancel an event if: any circumstances occur outside its control, if full payment has not been received prior to the event date or if the booking may cause damage or prejudice to the reputation of Mosman Park Bowling Club.. In the event of cancellation by the venue, Mosman Park Bowling club, at managements discretion, refund any advance payment but will have no further liability to the customer.

Photo Consent
Mosman Park bowling Club on some occasions wish to take photographs or video of events for promotional purposes. These images may be used in mediums including publications and promotional material, broadcast, print and electronic media.
MPBC agrees not to use any photo/video in a manner that may be deemed adverse or defamatory to the person signing this form, and it will not use the photo for any commercial gain.

Greens
Only bare feet or socks on the greens – except if you wear PROPER bowling shoes. The greens are not licensed – please do not take drinks or food onto the green. You can carry your drinks around the perimeters of the greens only. Children under 10 years of age are not permitted on the greens. Children over 12 years of age must be always supervised. There is no running or playing on the greens. Please do not “DRIVE” the bowls (ie bowl them very fast) – it is dangerous. Also please do not ‘Throw’ the bowls as this damages the greens. The correct action is to bend at the knee and roll the bowl. When finished, please replace the bowls in correct “sets” back into the bowls locker that they came from.
Bowls
All bowls are to be returned to their original box after your bowls session.
Bowls Instructor
Our bowls instructors are our valued members and volunteers so please treat them with kindness and respect. Your bowls instructor has the right to terminate your bowls session at any point if they believe your function is not abiding by the Club’s rules and regulations regarding the greens or the safety of other patrons.
The Club requires functions to book their instructor for a specific time and the organiser is responsible for everyone in the party attending this instruction. If guests are late or miss the instruction, it is the member/day member’s responsibility to relay the information.
Children in Attendance
For their safety, and that of all other guests at Mosman Park Bolwing Club, all children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
The Club is unfortunately not blessed with sufficient space to provide a special play area (either inside or outside) for young children. General rules apply: children are not permitted near the bar or to be served at the bar. When outside, they are welcome to use the lawns around the green for moderate activities but must not play on any of the greens.
The Club can provide a few books, toys, and a few games. Those with electronic devices can also utilize the club WiFi if that is preferred. Children of 12yrs and older are welcome to bowl with a function but must be fully supervised by a responsible adult. For children 12yrs and under, children’s bowls can be provided by the bar. These bowls are to be signed out and returned to the bar after use and a bond may be required.
Security
In some cases, for larger events that require an extended trading permit, security may be required. If this situation occurs, the hirer will be responsible for any costs incurred for additional security.
Smoking
Smoking is permitted ONLY in designated areas.
