We WIN the Final and more!

26 March 2025: Breaking news – The Women’s Premier team on Tuesdays just won the Pennant! Full details to come in a separate article shortly!  The players wish to thank all the wonderful supporters who came to watch the Grand Final at Cambridge Bowling Club, and to the qualifying final at home on Monday. 

Previous updates:

Our Women’s Premier team on Tuesdays are in the finals! Even though the result didn’t matter, they beat North Beach at North Beach on very fast greens to prove their capabilities. The team will be playing the first final on Monday 24th March at Mosman Park so make sure you come down and watch the very best in action. If we win, we go straight into the Grand Final which will be held Wednesday 26th March at Cambridge Bowling Club. If we lose on Monday, play the winner of 3rd v 4th at Mosman Park on the Tuesday 23rd.

Update 24th March:

We really ARE in the final! A strong win over Safety Bay, the only team to have beaten us during the regular season. The final will be played on Wednesday 26th at Cambridge. See you all there – it’s a big deal to win a Pennant, especially Premier League.

Men’s Club Championship 4’s

But wait, there’s more! The Men’s Club Championship 4s are at the club on Sunday 23rd starting at 9:30am. Should be a lot of fun mixed with tension and excitement as 6 teams battle it out for this club trophy. Good luck to everyone!

Update 24th March:

Teams Hoffman and Cranswick (Mitch) are through to the final, which was deferred due to bushfires and wakes. It will now be held next Sunday 30th at 10:30am. Who’s game will reign supreme? Hoffman (the Hoff), Townsend (JT), Pallett (JP) and Bright (Ernie), or will it be Mitch and Terry Cranswick, Peter “Swifty” McGurk and new boy Chris Hughes? Come down, have an early beer and see for yourself!
