Social Bowls

Weekly organised social bowls for any ability, any gender. Bowls supplied if you need them.

1. During the summer and autumn months, we hold Wednesday evenings Scroungers. Let Bruce Neaves know in advance if you can by phone or text on 0419 924 761, or just arrive by 6pm for a 6:30 start. BYO food if you’d like to eat beforehand with a drink from the bar. A nominal fee applies and is used to provide prizes.

2. During the winter months, from 30th April 2025, we start Wednesday afternoon Scroungers. Arrive 12:30pm for a 1pm start.  A nominal fee applies and is used to provide prizes. Mark Bright is your contact on 0421 229 335.

3. From Friday 11th April 2025, Friday afternoon Pairs (Open Gender).  12:30 for 1pm start. $10 per player and includes supper. 3-bowl pairs, 2 rounds of 13 ends each.  This session is a higher standard than pure social bowls and is ideal for improving your bowls. You can continue on with the weekly Friday Frenzy in the club, with raffles and happy hour. Put your names on the noticeboard sheet or ring Terry on 0422 392 888.

4. From 3rd May, Saturday Scroungers starts, 12:30 for 1pm start. Teams are drawn, and we play two games of 9 ends, or one of 13 ends if the weather is unkind. Bruce Neaves is your contact by phone or text on 0419 924 761.

5. Coaching – contact the club to request a free coaching session. Our volunteer coaches are often at the club and can arrange a session with you directly.
